Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Since August of 1993, Marlene and Andrew Henning have been volunteering their time to keep the Mountrail Community Food Pantry alive and well in Stanley. The food pantry serves as a place were families in need can stock up on supplies to help in their time of need. Items stocked in the food pantry come from donations from people, churches, Food Pride and organizations around the county, as well as the federal government and Lutheran Social Services in Fargo. Prairie Ford has also donated the use of a vehicle sometimes for the Hennings to make the trip to Minot to pick up supplies. The community values the Hennings leadership to help continue this valuable service in the community.
