Stanley Receives Mini Leadership Library

Compliments of the Horizons program, residents of Stanley can now take advantage of a mini-library dedicated to Leadership. The mini-library is located at the Mountrail County Extension Office. Books are available to check out during office hours (Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and are geared to teach individuals how to become better leaders.

STANLEY ALONG WITH OTHER SMALL NORTHWEST TOWNS IN NORTH DAKOTA WERE FEATURED ON BOTH COASTS. THE OIL ACTIVITY IS INCREASING AROUND STANLEY. THE NEW YORK TIMES, SEATTLE TIMES AND MINNEAPOLIS NEWSPAPERS REPORTED TO THE WORLD ABOUT OUR BOOMING AREA. THE OIL INDUSTRY IN THE STATE EXPECTS TO NEED 12,000 NEW WORKERS BY 2010.

IT LOOKS LIKE THERE WILL BE NEW GROWTH IN THE STANLEY AREA!
